Comprehensive and Customized Assessments
Comprehensive assessments are designed to answer your specific questions about how your student is functioning, including their struggles and their strengths. Typical areas of concern include attention issues, such as ADHD, learning disabilities, and emotional adjustment, including depression and anxiety.
The steps involved include a detailed parent background interview, in-office testing using evidence-based measures, data gathered from relevant informants (often including teacher consultations and questionnaires), a detailed parent feedback meeting, and a comprehensive written report including all findings and recommendations, which may be submitted for consideration of school-based and standardized testing accommodations.
If the area of interest is more specific, shorter, tailored assessments are also available.
IQ Testing
Assessment of your child’s intellectual profile can provide you with a window into their particular pattern of cognitive development. Parents often find this profile useful in choosing schools and understanding their children’s struggles and talents. Dr. Daley uses the Weschler series of intelligence scales (WPPSI, WISC, and WAIS, depending on your child’s age). Her goal is to make the process engaging (and even fun!) for your child. You will receive a summary report of your child’s scores and will have the option of scheduling an additional feedback session to review the findings.
Parent Consultations
Do you sometimes wonder how the pieces of your child’s particular puzzle fit together? Dr. Daley can provide you with an in-depth parent consultation, including reviewing your child’s history and existing records, to help you evaluate your next steps. Typical topics include educational and extracurricular planning.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
